The JPC

The JPC Consists of 21 Elected Officers. Half are elected at the end of Michaelmas and the other half at the end of Lent, with all undergraduates being eligible to stand and/or vote.

Hello, I’m Adam, a 2nd year historian and JPC Treasurer. My role involves managing and accounting the JPC budget. I deal with reimbursements to Sports and Socs, and JPC spending. I work closely with the College’s Assistant Bursar and will be involved in allocating next year’s JPC budget in Easter Term. That basically means I’m responsible for making sure accommodation and food in college are up to scratch, and pushing for any changes that students want to see around these. I’m also responsible for organising halfway hall!

Hi, I’m James, a second-year medical student. My role is to manage the contents of the JP (including pool and football tables, board games, etc.); keep track of when events are occurring in the JP; and liaise with Catering on bar issues, such as when the bar is open and what the bar stocks.

Green & Ethical Affairs Officer

About Megan

Hi, I’m Megan, a 2nd year BioNatSci. My subject, rural upbringing and love of hillwalking keep me invested in Green and Ethical Affairs.


In my role, I represent the JP at Gardens Committee and Consultative Committee on Sustainability and the Environment (CCSE) meetings. I also raise issues that I and other college members have identified as not being very sustainable, and brainstorm ideas to address them. If you have any Green or Ethical concerns or want to suggest any green or charity events, please get in touch.
